The Path to the Sea
I will see you at the end of the path
Just before the sun appears
Footsteps and fingers veil around it
As coolness dissipates in the breeze
Sitting down and staring out
The horizon cleaving reality in two
On one side the waves, in you the other

Been going through some old works in storage, taking new photographs and doing a proper inventory of everything I have. Found these two mixed media collage works I made in 2001. It's always a bit weird to see old works... feels like a lifetime ago. I used to like them... then I hated them... but now I like them again. I'm glad I still have one or two pieces left from that time.
