A friend messaged me last night saying that life has gotten colder for him… not literally, but metaphorically. People be bitches, the friendliness of friend no longer fresh… expired basi. I send him a virtual hug. “Sorry to hear about that” and all that jazz. Life be a bitter pill sometimes… but it’s ok. Just swallow it and berak keluar. All any of us can do is survive, one day at a time, two shits in one day. All that we are is two blinks in the age of forever… this moment means nothing… just a little devilish joke in the eye of infinitismus.

but seriously, if you want to tell someone your story, just tell them… you too can be someone’s pitter bill… and you never know… they might just like it. make this moment last a little bit longer…

recently I’ve been thinking about paths… this time last year I was thinking about portals… hmmm… I definitely think they are connected.

taking a little break from uploading, writing, editing, photoshopping… and going through hundreds of images… I’m not a fan of going through it I must say. this whole process is making me feel like archive material. i was reading through a few residency calls on instagram earlier and saw one that was calling for an archive residency… i wonder if i should apply with myself as the archive. lol. anyway… there are new entries under the ART section, more to come in the next couple of weeks. after that section is ok, the next step is to populate the TEXT section… with articles, reviews, essays, and also personal writings, scans of notes, and lots and lots of poetry from a lifetime ago. after that… I will set up the SHOP section through which i plan to put some stuff for sale. ok, enough dreaming, back to work!

Nowhere... like about nowhere

I went to the fish market in papar with my sister and brother… to buy fish. I bought some big juicy prawns. My sister bought tuna and pomfret. Then we had a little Indian food. The day was super hot and humid.

I took some photos while we were on the road. Should've taken a few at the fish market.

Reality truly is boring and banal of you don't make a fuss over it.

But maybe banality is the endgame… who knows?

new site

hi - welcome to the new site. it’s been a very long time since i updated anything, even on the previous site. but i wasn’t too happy with the previous arrangement. wix was a terrible host service… never again. hopefully this time on squarespace will be better. :-) anyway… fingers crossed this site will be up and running 100% in a week’s time.
