F U C K E R Y
Fuckerywas a series of mixed media collages I made in 2023 exploring my continuing interests in human figuration and using recycled materials.
By layering drawings on tracing paper over intricately collaged backgrounds made using scrap materials I have saved over the years, I wanted to create new amalgams of ideas I had explored in some of my previous works, which were inspired by my reading of Josef Albers’ book “Interaction of Colors”.
These works were exhibited in Favouritism is My Favourite -Ism curated by Chi Too at The Back Room KL, in December 2023.
